Hey everyone!
My name is Jana and I live in Vermont! I grew up having multiple aquariums (55 gal saltwater, 40 gal cichlid tank, 20 gal angelfish, and 10 gal guppy tank). The 10 gallon guppy tank was in my bedroom and I ended up breeding fancy tailed guppies, that turned into my 8th grade science fair project!
In December of 2023, I moved into a beautiful and spacious home where, after we were fully settled, set up my first 55 gal freshwater aquarium!
Since the beginning of May, I have lost quite a few but I am happy to report that many more survived than I lost! It is a learning experience for sure and I have loved every minute of it, but I am always willing and eager to learn more - especially from fellow fish "fin"atics!
Since my 55 gal, I have set up a 10 gal tank (opposite side of the room) as my electric blue crayfish ended up being too naughty and he needed a “tank time out”. 
. Sadly, he died last weekend during an unsuccessful molt… 
Now my 10 gal has a few guppies and 2 golden killifish (which I LOVE and hope to get more of for my 55 gal)!
However, I must admit to my one new obsession which are… 
!!! I find them adorable and fascinating. I have 7 in my 55 gal (4 mystery and 3 rabbit) that are doing beautifully and I have 3 in my 10 gal. I would like to add shrimp now to my 10 gal, because I cannot add to my 55 gal as I have a Platinum Parrot Cichlid and multiple Gourami’s that I think would eat the shrimp, unless someone out here thinks otherwise?
